Team owners need to ask themselves if they really want to start the next season with the same failed leadership. The NFL will remain under a cloud of doubt and mistrust unless Roger Goodell steps down.

Detroit tries charity to test backlogged rape kits

The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, which discovered 11,000 untested rape kits in a Detroit police storage unit five years ago, announced Tuesday that it has teamed up with two nonprofits to raise $10 million to pay for the testing, investigation and prosecution of those unsolved rape cases.

This non-report report is yet another reason why NOW continues to demand for new, competent leadership at the NFL. The league needs a leader who will seriously commit to appointing an independent investigator with full authority to ask the questions that are actually meaningful.
