For quite some time, Skyy Vodka has been a textbook example of how to objectify and sexualize women. Their ads often portray womankind as man’s well-deserved reward, a way to signify and celebrate the high life. In the process, women’s bodies are presented as if they’re a product to be consumed along with the alcohol.

It seems the only topic on which older and younger feminists can definitively agree is that we have opinions about young feminism. Older feminists are the most likely to get air time, which is unfortunate, indefensible, and yet understandable.

We just can’t have someone with obvious animosity toward women and seniors making important decisions on Social Security. This commission is supposed to be developing ways to reduce the national debt, which, by the way, has nothing to do with Social Security. The canard that the Social Security trust fund is going broke is always brought out by the same crowd who want to cut taxes for the rich.
