As the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing come to a close, the event will be forever remembered for the performances of incredible women athletes. Of the 222 athletes on this year’s U.S. Olympic team, 108 of them are women – the most women competing for any nation in the history of the Winter Olympics. Familiar faces like Chloe Kim, Maame Biney, and Mikaela Shiffrin returned this year, as well as new go-getters including, Erin Jackson, and 16-year-old figure skater, Alysa Liu.
