As the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing come to a close, the event will be forever remembered for the performances of incredible women athletes. Of the 222 athletes on this year’s U.S. Olympic team, 108 of them are women – the most women competing for any nation in the history of the Winter Olympics. Familiar faces like Maame Biney, and Mikaela Shiffrin returned this year, as well as new go-getters including, Erin Jackson, and 16-year-old figure skater, Alysa Liu.
