The Harvard Political Review quoted NOW Action Vice President Erin Matson in an article about the Violence Against Women Act and the role of women’s issues in this economy-driven election year: “[There has been] a long-standing tradition of bipartisan support for the Women Against Violence Act against since 1994, [and] I think that there is no reason that we should allow this to become a political issue.”
