NFL Must Apply High Standards to Raiders Coach Cable

USA Today columnist Christine Brennan interviews NOW President Terry O’Neill about recent allegations of domestic violence and abuse surrounding Oakland Radiers’ Head Coach Tom Cable: “….the controversial head coach of the Oakland Raiders, should be suspended immediately for acknowledging on Sunday that he slapped his first wife with an open hand more than 20 years ago. His admission came after the airing of an ESPN report in which Cable was accused of physical abuse by Sandy Cable, his first wife, and Marie Lutz, who said she dated Cable as recently as January. In the piece, Sandy Cable says Tom Cable hit her not with an open hand but a closed fist.”
