Brent Schrotenboer writes, “Mesa College has entered into an agreement with the federal Office of Civil Rights to resolve gender-equity disparities found in a recent investigation into Mesa’s athletic department. The investigation stemmed from a complaint filed last year by former women’s basketball coaches Lorri Sulpizio and Cathy Bass…. The OCR’s investigation identified gender disparities involving scheduling games, provision of locker rooms and facilities, and provision of medical facilities and services.”
