Despite ‘autopsy,’ GOP could have revival in 2014

Page Gardner and Celinda Lake write for POLITICO: “When the Republican National Committee released its so-called autopsy of the 2012 presidential campaign last month, it candidly predicted that Republicans ‘will lose future elections’ if they are unable to attract more women and minority voters. While long-term demographic trends do not favor the Grand Old Party, reports of its electoral demise have been greatly exaggerated. Unless Democrats act quickly, the 2014 midterm elections may generate one successful last gasp for the GOP’s traditional voting base.”
