Clinics Fear Being Swamped If Planned Parenthood Loses Funding

Rinker Buck reports for the Hartford Courant: “More than 60,000 Connecticut women this year will visit the local clinics of Planned Parenthood of Southern New England for basic health care, breast and gynecological exams, birth control, abortions and treatment for sexually-transmitted diseases. But that array of services — especially for poor and uninsured women — will be imperiled if the Republican majority in the U.S. House of Representatives kills federal funding for Planned Parenthood.”
