In partnership with Midwest Academy, we aim to arm our NOW leaders and members with the tools to organize in their respective communities. We will hold two bootcamps to optimize participation and make it accessible to our NOW members.

Revolutionary change starts with strategic organizing. Over three days, NOW and Midwest Academy will be showcasing how effective organizing powered by strong leadership can result in the progress we need to address today’s complex injustices.

The imperativeness for equitable change is even more pressing in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The level of vigilance to stay safe has posed new challenges in the organizing world. Within these sessions, you will learn how to navigate the current political and social climate amongst other impassioned activists.

These training sessions will be a source of empowerment as well as a tangible guide to effecting social and political change. Topics that will be explored include: the role of an organizer, how to mobilize your targeted base, and incorporating racial justice when defining political issues. Get ready to strengthen your organizing and enhance your impact.

Choose from one of the upcoming bootcamps: September 13 – 15, 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET
