“We’re On The Money—At Last”

Washington, D.C. – Treasury Secretary Jack Lew’s announcement that the $10 bill will be redesigned to include a portrait of a woman is great news—and long overdue.  A female face on the currency that everyone uses will send a signal that inclusion is a fundamental value that should permeate everything we do.

All of those who persist in claiming that women’s accomplishments don’t need to be publicly recognized won’t be able to put their mouth where their money is.   Money talks, and today, it’s got something new to say for women everywhere.
