Washington, D.C. – Infrastructure supports how our society functions and enhances our standard of living. When we think of infrastructure, we often think about things like bridges, roads, and power grids. But infrastructure is much more than that. It’s access to public health services, paid family leave, and even affordable childcare. And it’s a feminist issue.
We need to put women at the forefront of the conversation when it comes to infrastructure. Women, especially women of color, are the ones who have been most affected by the failures of our infrastructure systems. They’re also the ones who have the experiences and knowledge to come up with the solutions to fix it. Join NOW and special guests in a townhall event to discuss how #WomenBuildBetter.
