NOW, National Coalition for the Homeless, and Stetson University Launch New Initiative Focusing on Homeless and Poverty Impacting Women, Children, Family and Youth
April 22, 2022, 2-4 p.m. EDT via Zoom
WASHINGTON, DC — Millions of families are subject to extreme poverty and homelessness in the United States, and contribute to the thousands of deaths that are counted by agencies across the country. Children and youth exposed to extreme hazards such as unsafe living environments or dangerous living spaces are subject to lifelong health risks.
