A Texas Federal Judge Rules to Endanger Women’s Lives—Again!

Once again, a federal judge in Texas ruled to put women’s lives at risk when U.S. District Judge James Wesley Hendrix struck down the Biden Administration’s new guidance requiring hospitals to provide life-saving and essential care.

Women may now be denied simple, life-saving procedures for conditions like severe hemorrhaging or dangerous hypertension.

Women will be put in danger because of extremist, forced-birth politics.

NOW members will not stand quietly on the sidelines as politicians increase their control over women’s most basic rights.

They have no business calling themselves “pro-life” when they are so dead-set on putting the lives and health of countless women at risk.

This week’s ruling will not be the last judicial attack on reproductive rights—not in Texas or anywhere else.

That’s why NOW members will be working so hard to elect a Congress that will pass a law restoring the protections of Roe v. Wade, endorsing state officials who will turn back extreme abortion bans, and to expand access to reproductive care, and all health care.
