NJ0225 Middlesex County NOW

The Middlesex County Chapter of the National Organization for Women was founded in 1970. Our chapter includes all of Middlesex County, New Jersey and parts of Somerset County as well. We meet on the second Monday of the month at the home of two of our members, who graciously provide dinner for us, and we have an online monthly chapter newsletter which keeps our membership up to date on local, state, national, and international politics of concern to feminists. Our chapter’s priority issues include reproductive justice, promoting diversity and ending racism, putting an end to violence against women, LGBTQIA rights, women’s constitutional equality/Equal Rights Amendment, and economic justice, plus whatever other issues are currently newsworthy. We also maintain a liaison with the students at Rutgers University, providing feminist support and guidance as needed.
