Accepting artwork for the 2026 NOW Foundation Love Your Body Poster Contest!

Submission Deadline: October 14, 2026

The NOW Foundation invites artists of all ages and backgrounds to participate in the 2026 Love Your Body Poster Contest

Before submitting your poster, please review past winning designs and familiarize yourself with the Love Your Body campaign. The campaign challenges the narrow, unrealistic, and often harmful beauty standards promoted by the media and beauty industry. It rejects the idea that a woman’s value is measured by her appearance or her ability to conform to current beauty ideals.

Winning posters will be selected based on how effectively they:

  • Challenge narrow, unrealistic, and negative images of women and girls.
  • Promote body neutrality, self-acceptance, and a broader understanding of beauty.
  • Challenge beauty standards and advertising practices that profit from dissatisfaction with our bodies.
  • Communicate a compelling and dynamic message through strong visual design.
  • Celebrate the diversity of bodies, identities, ages, ethnicities, abilities, and physical appearances.

The winning posters may be displayed in schools and other public settings and featured through NOW Foundation and NOW communications. Please keep this audience and potential public use in mind when creating your design.

For more information about the Love Your Body campaign, visit the NOW Love Your Body campaign page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I include photos of celebrities or models in my poster?

No. The NOW Foundation cannot consider posters featuring celebrities, models, or other identifiable individuals without documented permission to use their likeness. This applies to both awarding prizes and displaying or reproducing the poster on the NOW Foundation website or in other public settings.

Can I include photos of or references to name-brand products?

No. Do not use recognizable brand names, logos, trademarks, or product imagery without appropriate permission.

Can I cut out and include photos from print magazines?

No. The NOW Foundation does not have the right to reproduce copyrighted magazine photographs and therefore cannot consider posters using those images for an award or public display.

Can I use photos or graphics I found on the internet?

Only if you have permission to use them. Some websites offer free stock photography or graphics with licenses that allow reuse. Always review the terms of use and licensing requirements before using an image.

If a website does not clearly state that an image is free to use or provide permission for your intended use, do not use it. The image may be protected by copyright.

Can I use images available through my computer software or in a clip-art collection?

Yes. Images and graphics included with software you legally own or obtained through a clip-art collection may be used, provided that your use complies with the applicable license or terms of use.

What about photos of myself, my friends, or my family?

If you use photographs that you or someone you know has taken and the photograph includes identifiable individuals, you must obtain a signed release from each person pictured.

The release should clearly state that the person understands their image is being used as part of a poster contest entry, and that, if selected, the image may appear on the NOW Foundation website and in other public settings or communications.

Never use photographs of people who did not know they were being photographed or who were not informed about how their image would be used.

You do not need to submit release forms with your initial entry. However, if your poster is selected as a winner, you may be required to provide documentation of the necessary releases. Failure to provide required releases may result in disqualification.

Do I have to create my poster on a computer?

No. Handmade artwork is welcome. However, all contest entries must be submitted electronically to online@now.org. Physical artwork will not be accepted.

Can my poster include three-dimensional objects, such as fabric, or reflective surfaces, such as a mirror?

Yes. However, three-dimensional or reflective elements can be difficult or impossible to reproduce accurately in print or digital formats. While these types of designs may be eligible for a category prize, they may reduce the likelihood that the design can be selected as the official Grand Prize poster.
