In May 2018, former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman was forced to resign in disgrace after four women with whom he had previously been in relationships accused him of repeated physical abuse. This week, it was announced that because of legal impediments, he will not be prosecuted.

Sign on to our letter demanding that Schneiderman donate the millions of dollars from his now defunct re-election campaign to organizations that support survivors and seek to end intimate partner violence.

After initially insisting that the reported hitting, choking, and slapping had been “consensual,” Schneiderman recently said he will “accept full responsibility” for the abusive behavior and “for the impact it had” on the women he harmed.

We launched this petition campaign in partnership with the NOW-New York and Feminist Majority to ensure that Schneiderman turns his words of contrition into action.
