Demand access to emergency contraception

The Emergency Contraception Access and Education Act requires hospitals that receive federal funds (including Medicare and Medicaid) to provide medically accurate information about emergency contraception to victims of sexual assault and ensures that every victim has access to emergency contraception without having to worry about the cost. It also requires the Department of Health and Human Services to develop and distribute the most current, evidence-based standards of care regarding emergency contraception.
