Travel

Driving: The 2006 NOW Conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, located at State and Lodge Streets, in Albany, NY. Mapquest provides a map of the area, and you can also enter your own address to get driving directions. Once you've arrived in Albany, the hotel concierge can provide driving directions to area attractions and restaurants.

Flying: You will be flying into Albany International Airport (airport code ALB). Many major airlines, including American eagle, Independence, Northwest, Southwest, United, and US Airways, fly into this airport. More information about the airport is available at. Check the following sites for travel deals: Southwest, Orbitz, Travelocity, Expedia, and Cheaptickets. The airport is 11 miles from the conference hotel. There is a complimentary hotel shuttle to/from the Albany airport; taxi service is also available for $15.

Rail: You will be arriving at Rensselaer Train Station which is 5 miles from the hotel. There is a complimentary shuttle from the train station to the conference hotel.

The 2006 NOW conference will take place at the Crowne Plaza Albany – City Center Hotel, located in downtown Albany. The hotel offers the following amenities:

Just a 15 minute drive from Albany, Big G's is the ultimate alternative party spot, catering to a mixed gay, lesbian & straight clientele.
