Does NOW Have a Future?

Reformers like Susan B. Anthony, Sojourner Truth and Alice Paul, author of the Equal Rights Amendment, left you and me an invaluable legacy of ideas and activism.

To keep the legacy alive and advance it, you and I have dedicated ourselves to creating an urgent national movement for basic rights. And NOW is making a difference today in all our lives.

But will it be a lasting difference?

It will ... if you, too, leave a legacy to future generations of women -- to your daughters and grandaughters -- by making a bequest to NOW through your will.

You can act today by inserting these words in your will ...

I give, devise, and bequeath to the National Organization for Women, Inc. (EIN #23-77094479) a non-profit organization located at 1000 Sixteenth Street, N.W., Washington D.C. 20036, the sum of ________ dollars (or describe the specific property you intend to bequeath).

You needn't inform NOW of your plans today or at anytime -- unless you wish to make a living bequest. And then we will help make the arrangements by working together. And, of course, you can change your will at any time.

Just as we are in your debt today for your support and activism, I hope that NOW will owe you a great deal more for giving your personal legacy to the future.

Thank you.
