Greater Birmingham NOW recognizes the importance of Planned Parenthood right here in our city and the services they provide for women’s health. Thanks to Roe v. Wade they are able to provide women with safe and legal abortions. We want them to know how much we appreciate the jobs they do in a setting that isn’t always the most supportive, especially here in Alabama. We will have a card writing party at our January meeting and then on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade will deliver the cards filled with thanks and refreshments to our local clinic. We are grateful to have them in our city!
